Paris - Louvre

After visiting Les colonnes de Buren we had to go just accross the street to see the pyramid of the Louvre! It's such an amazing spot. Very croweded and touristy but I will never get tired of going over there...

^ Not quite stable on Daddy's shoulders yet but it shouldn't take long now ^

^ He sometimes looks so serious ^

And after taking some nice shots around the Louvre we went for a stroll in the very nearby Jardin des Tuileries. On a pretty fall afternoon, we found some leaves on the ground and Mason enjoyed discovering them!

^ He was like, 'What the hell is this thing? Can I chew on it?!' ^

I don't know when he will start walking but I'm pretty sure that he won't be a latecomer. He always wants to stand on his cute chubby legs...

And to do so makes him so happy!

From this garden you can see the Eiffel Tower in the background. I love it! When we got engaged, it's one of the places in Paris we chose to take pictures. So we had to get a few with Mason too!

Paris - Les colonnes de buren

During our busy weekend in Paris, I wanted to visit some famous spots to bring Anthony and Mason for the first time. I lived in Paris for about 10 years, but sometimes when you live there you don't really take advantage of it. You have to be far away to want to visit again. Now that I'm married to an American, I have more motivation to visit some touristy places. And I forgot how beautiful some are!

To get there, first we had to take the metro. Even though Mason is used to the New York City subway, it was his first time in the Parisian one. But it had the same vibrations, so he loved it. He's getting so aware of everything - he was looking around so much and I think he found it to be pretty fun!

We got off at the station Opera and went for a nice walk. The weather was beautiful- perfect for a touristy day!

I obviously had to play with him a little. That smile is driving me crazy. He's such a happy baby and so good wherever we go. This is his first time in Paris, and I will always remember it!

This time we decided to go to an artistic place, in the Palais Royal, where you can find in the court les colonnes de Buren! I think the last time I went there I was probably a kid. It was definitely time to go back. Even though most of it was under renovation, we were able to enjoy it and take some nice shots!

^ I had to do some yoga ^

^ Mixed in with some ballet dance :p ^

Like mother; like son, we could say! A lot of people say that he's starting to look more like his dad but I think he still looks more like me! For sure he's going to be as funny as we both are :)

Fall outfits in Chartres

Being in France in October, we were not expecting to have such beautiful and warm weather. Even though it was very beautiful the first few days it didn't take too long to cool down. Staying in the countryside and mostly relaxing with my parents, we decided that it would be nice to tour around a little bit. Chartres is a nearby city that's pretty small but very nice. It's especially known for the beautiful and famous cathedral!
Since it was pretty cold, I took out some warmer cloths. Here are a few details!

That's probably one of my favorite jackets! Easy to wear with everything and so comfortable. The look of it is different if I wear it open or closed but either way I think it's stunning :)

French street market

When I was a child, I used to go every single week with my parents to the street market. Being back for a few weeks, I thought it would be nice to bring Mason and Anthony! I thought it would be nice for them to see where I grew up and the things I used to do as a kid. It's also a very different culture for Anthony who grew up in Brooklyn. It might not look that different but the products you can find over there definitely are!

^ Those tiny little feet though ^

Even though we are in October the weather is still very nice. Pretty surprising because in that region it's usually not that beautiful during this period of the year.

I think you usually go to the street market mostly for food but my favorite stand is always the flower one.

Mason decided to wake up just at the end of our stroll. But he's just a baby so there's nothing really for him to enjoy over there.

^ Something is missing ^
