Mommy & me fashion - striped outfit

I don't know if it's only me or if it's a mom thing, but I love matching Mason's outfit with mine. There are so many options in stores to be able to do so, and I love it! Even though I don't buy anything on purpose to match, I can always find some matching pieces in our closets. This time we were matching in stripes...

We spent a part of the afternoon enjoying the sun on our sundeck. Mason loves the fresh air so much; we could stay out for hours!

^ He was super happy ^

After a while we thought it would be nice to go for a walk. We found some amazing ice cream, and stopped to enjoy it. I'm not the kind of person to forbid food to my baby, so I let him try it when he looked so interested in it. And of course it was no suprise that he LOVED it!!! He was so cute, asking for more and more... Note to myself: don't do it too often, otherwise I'm gonna get into trouble with him.

Jellycat Bunnies

Before being pregnant, I never really had any reason to buy stuffed animals. So I didn't know until about a year ago that these amazing little bunnies existed! The first one I came across was when I was about 2 months pregnant, in a small clothing boutique in the Upper West Side. I totally fell in love with the design of it but as soon as I grabbed one and felt the softness I just had to buy one! The problem for me was deciding which size and which color to buy?! I finally picked one but couldn't forget all of the other ones I left behind...

So from there, each time I passed by a store that had them, I would buy a new one. That's how I started my Jellycat bunny collection, or Mason's one!

I bought a few for some of my friends who had babies. I think they make such a nice gift! I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

^ Mason loves them! I just hope as he grows older he won't get sick of bunnies! ^

I really think they are the softest stuffed animals I ever found! They have many other animals, and a huge range of different ones... But as you can tell, the bunny one put a spell on me!

First shopping day in beautiful LA

It took us a week to settle down in our new home. Once it was done, we took advantage of the beautiful weather (I think we're going to do that way more often here) and spent the afternoon shopping. It didn't feel at all like a Fall day to me. It felt like July and it was totally different than New York! Los Angeles is exactly what I imagined, and so far, I love it!

It was so nice! No cars around, very calm, not crowded at all and extremely clean. Such a peaceful atmosphere to walk around!

^ He's going to love Thanksgiving I think! We could have stayed and played with that Turkey for a long time... ^

^ With all the toys he has, he chooses to teeth on my sunglasses... Grrr ^

7 months old

One more month has passed... and that makes him 7 months old now!

And what a month! He's probably advanced the most this month since he's been born. I'm amazed how he's grown in such a small period of time. He now sits on his own and is completely stable without any problem. He rolls himself over upside down and even crawls backward so I'm pretty sure he'll be crawling all around soon. He's also using a high chair and loves it since he loves eating real food now!

He's still so funny! Makes so many faces and sounds... He loves to scream, I think he likes to test how high his voice can go!

It's getting difficult for me to take pictures of him. He's so hyper. His body and especially arms are constantely moving.

^ He's such an angel though ^

And he definitely knows what all these electronics are. I'm not going to be able to use them for too much longer! At least for now, he's not sure how to use them. He thinks that he can eat it (like every single thing that happens to be in his hands)!!!
