Mommy & me fashion - Plaid outfit at the park

I know that babies love being on the swing. But I was curious to know if MY baby would love it! So the best way to find out was to take him to the baby playground...
I probably don't need many words to describe the below pictures -  the expression on Mason's face speaks for itself...

As a mom, there is nothing more important to me than making my baby happy. Each and every single moment when I make him laugh or smile, is so rewarding to me! I'll remember this very first time on the swing forever. He loved it sooo much - I couldn't stop pushing him! The best things in life are probably the most simple ones...

^ He's cracking up ^

I love blogging about what me and my baby do, but I also love blogging about our outfits! Fashion is one of my passions and I'm trying my best to always look good :) Figuring out how to put pieces together can be either very easy or quite difficult sometimes. Today we were dressed up in plaid outfits! And as always my baby was matching me!

^ Trying to crawl around ^

Blogging about fashion can be quite difficult, but I'm trying my best to show some different ways to mix and match outfits - both my own and my baby's.

Mommy & me fashion - black and beige outfits

In today's post about our outfits, there's one of my all time favorite pieces in Mason's closet. His sweater! For such a long time, I had an idea of the kind I wanted him to wear, but I couldn't find it. I'm lucky enough to have a mother who knows how to nit so she made one exactly the way I wanted! He looks so cute in it :) What I love the most about it, is the very long pointy hood - it makes him look like an elf...

I have quite a few coats in my closet, but I haven't had the chance to take them out yet! (Not that I complain about it - don't get me wrong - I love the LA weather). Now I can use them a little since the temperature has droped. But still not enough to have to wear many layers under, so it feels perfect!

We're still discovering the area, and this time we went to a park in Santa Monica - it was very nice. We passed by a huge playground. In one way, I'm impatient to be able to go with Mason but in another way, not that much. I'm enjoying as much as I can to have him as a baby still and for him to depend on me for everything. Something's telling me that it won't last very long...

I love this kind of beige shade. Perfect for warming up during the fall/winter season. It also goes perfectly with the LA light during sunset :) I usually match it with black to keep it simple and classy...

That hood...

Watching the fountain was so much fun. He was very attracted to it since he loves the water. I'm sure if he could have, he would have gone right in!

Mommy & me fashion - black & burgandy

The LA weather is finally dropping a little - I couldn't imagine I'd say that one day since I just ran away from the cold winter weather in New York! But then again I am finally able to wear some heavier clothes. Even though I love warm weather I kind of miss being able to wear winter clothing because I love them so much...

Being stylish while being comfortable is really important for me. The best way to do that is to wear some big loose sweaters and match them with some skinny pants and more feminine accessorie like a hat. And that's exactly what I did today!

I don't wear hats very often so it was a little bit surprising for Mason. He probably wondered what was that thing on my head and he really enjoyed playing with it!

As always we are matchy matchy. It's so much fun to dress up my little dude!

^ Mason's expression on that one is just so funny :) ^

Even though I don't do it often, I love wearing hats. I feel like it's always a great accesory to make an outfit stand out more!

I'm not crazy about make up, and I never spend hours getting ready in my bathroom. I don't like it and I don't have the time for it! What I do is usually pretty simple and natural...

My outfit:
Sweater: Forever 21
Jeans: Maje
Sneakers: Isabel Marant
Hat: H&M
Purse: Chanel

Pants: Zara Kids

Mason's favorite teething toys

Mason is like every baby, going through a lot of pain as he's teething! So it's my job to try to sooth him as much as I can by finding some good toys he can chew on, safely while enjoy playing with them at the same time. Here are some of his favorites lately...

I never give him only one toy to play with. I like for him to have the choice of whatever he wants or likes at that time... It's mostly always different, even though I can tell some have more success than others!

One great toy to chew on is his Zeta Zebra made out of soft silicone. He loves it! The squeaking sound that comes out of it was surprising to him at first but once he got used to it, he couldn't stop playing with it! I love this one because I can put it in the freezer and Mason loves the feeling of it since he's not sensitive to the cold. It definitely helps with his pain. The design of it is also very cute. I have Sophie the girafe, who's probably his biggest competitor. But I like new things, so Zeta Zebra was the perfect addition to Mason's bundle of teething toys!

This colorful teething ring is a big hit lately - very easy to grab on and play around with. The bright colors attract him so much! It's also made out of soft silicone which Mason loves because it's just perfect for his little gums.

This Zebra is so flexible, and sometimes I feel bad for it... Mason is not the most gentle baby in the world, and with the squeaky sounds it makes, he loves to bend it in every single way...

This one by Moulin Roty is a bit more challenging for him since it's more difficult to grab. It's a cute balloon made out of PVC, and for some reason it's one of his favorite toys to bite on! It's soft and smooth, and so far it resists his two bottom teeth pretty well... I love seeing him play with this one because it usually never stays in his hand very long. He grabs it so strong that at one point it just slips away from him. So funny!

Can you tell from the expression on his face how much he enjoys it?!... I think he can feel his teeth going through the PVC - so good!

This wooden bell stick is also one he grabs all the time since it's very easy for him to hold. It also makes a great sound as he moves it around, but most of all I think he loves the feeling of the wood on his gums. I have to be careful with this one since I'm always scared he'll put too much of it in his mouth. But so far so good - it makes him very happy!

And the last one here is absolutely not supposed to be used for teething. But unfortunately in our home, Mason uses it all the time! This cute night light is made out of silicone rubber. I think both the material and the shape of it, with the pointy ears, can entertain him for quite some time! This one is a double hit since I can just turn it on at night so he can play with it, and teeth on it, even in the dark...
