Mason's bedroom

Today I wanted to share with you my favorite room in the house! I always dreamed of having a beautiful bedroom for my baby. When I was pregnant I was so frustrated because we were in a one-bedroom apartment in New York City and I couldn't create what I had in my mind. I was so looking forward to making my own baby nursery for so many years, and I couldn't have it at that time. So as soon as we moved to Los Angeles, I tried to create what I've envisioned for so long... A little dreamland where my baby could sleep in peace...

I don't know what I love most here. To me every single piece is beautiful! I love spending time with him playing in his bedroom...

I fell in love with this crib right away. When I saw it the first time I knew it would be THE one for my baby!

His little play area in the bedroom is so cute and those shelves are very well adapted for him. It's just about his height and he can take everything out easily! Maybe too easily - sometimes if I turn my back 5 minutes, when I come back, everything is out all over the floor! But I remind myself it's normal and that every baby at that age does the same.

I don't know why but for some reason since I was pregnant I got this craziness about bunnies. I love them and put them everywhere!

I love chandeliers in baby bedrooms, but a lot of them are very girly to me. It took me a long time to find the right one! This hot air balloon was the perfect touch for Mason's bedroom - not just because it's beautiful but also because it kind of matches our story perfectly. If the sky and flying wasn't involved, Mason wouldn't exist :)

That wood horse though!!! It took me quite some time to get my hands on it! When I found it, they were just changing it to a newer version that doesn't look at all the same. What I love about it is that it looks so old! After so many calls and harassment they finally found one that was laying around at the back of the store in Boston and shipped it to me. I was sooo happy that day! My baby is still too young to ride it, but he loves it so much...

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think about the room and if you have some examples of your own!

Please please please do follow up posts about what happened after you decided to leave Miami and go with your heart and how you ended up loving on New York :)

    1. I will! I'm suppose to keep writing it since a long time but never took the time. The chandelier is from restoration hardware.
