Holiday outfit

It's been a little while since I did an outfit post and I really wanted to do one special for the holidays. I'm closing 2016 with this pretty look that's perfect for the New Year festivities!
I've been very bad at keeping up with the blog, doing all of what I want to do, mostly because of the lack of time, ideas and self-esteem ahah! But I'm working on changing a few things, creating a new look, and renaming it so hopefully it will become better and bigger soon...
Till then have a happy new year everyone!

Trip to France part 2

We stayed only three days in Paris and had so many people to see we didn't have a lot of time to do things. We actually pretty much saw only the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. We had a lot to do and brought Mason everywhere. We hung out with friends who had kids and some who didn't so it wasn't always easy to have him with us but he was overall very good. Coming from the US where there is so much to do for kids, I was shocked to see how Paris was not accommodating to babies/toddlers. I was a single girl during all the years I lived there so it was a new discovery for me.
So we found that beautiful open playground called The Louvre, and if I lived there again, I think I would take Mason every single day... No joke, it's really the most beautiful place there is - just let the pictures speak for themselves!

Christmas magic

It was Mason's third Christmas and definitely the best one - Well, I'm pretty sure I said the same last year and will say the same every year! Watching the magic of it through Mason's eyes made me fall in love with this holiday again. I have amazing memories of Christmas as a kid but not so much as an adult. Not having the closest and most loving family, back to when I was in France I always preferred working than spending time with my family on Christmas. It's kind of sad but it is what it is. Seeing everyone celebrating it with all of their families always makes me a bit sad of not having the same but I do have my own little family now and so much to be grateful for.

Mason counted every night with us until Santa would come. He was so excited and it's the first year he really understood what was going on. He woke up and went straight to the tree to see all the packages but he was surprisingly very gentle. He opened them one by one with a break between each to play with every single toy he got.  He was lucky to get all he asked for and more! He did open our presents too but knew right away for who which one was.

It was a successful Christmas and now every morning he wakes up asking for more gifts, hahah! I can already say I'm sure he will have an amazing birthday in a few months!

I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas, with your own small family or big extended one...
