Indian canyon - white & beige summery matching outfit

Yesterday we arrived in Palm Springs. It's our first time here, and after hearing so many good things about it we decided to come spend a few days. But just our luck, the weather is way colder than usual and it even rained. But we can still enjoy it a lot. On the good side, it's actually empty here!

We started by exploring Indian Canyon - it was absolutely beautiful. My spring outfit was matching the scenery pretty well but I have to say that I wasn't very warm. We can't see it in pictures, but we actually had rain in the middle of our hike...

The canyon looked like a jungle! It's so nice to do a little getaway (and not even that far from us) but to really feel like we travelled to another country...

I'm wearing my new jewelry from my Rocksbox which was matching the atmosphere pretty well. The stylist who made my new box had to know somehow that we were gonna go because she couldn't have matched it more perfectly! I received my new box just before leaving and I really love opening my little surprise...

I wanted Mason to match me so I only packed stuff for him to be coordinated. Mason loves running around wildly, and it just reminds me that I'm not really smart to make him wear white all the time... He tripped many times which is why he looks so dirty in the pics!

 ^^ Chasing him always ^^

I don't know how it will be years from now, but Mason has such a strong independent will already that it scares me. Who knows how it's gonna get but I really hope it will be easier soon...

We couldn't do crazy hikes because of him. And he wouldn't let us carry him so we had to go on an easy trail where it's not too dangerous. I wanted to go see an oasis but we figured we would do it next time!

Mason's first egg hunt

I thought Mason was still too young to really undertsand the concept of hunting eggs but boy was I wrong! The weather was pretty bad so I decided to hide his little eggs in his bedroom while he was having breakfast with his dad...

The light was really bad so my pictures didn't turn out great but I really wanted to keep some memories of it and share them with you all...

We kind of had to explain what was going on for him to find the first egg and after that he totally got it and went crazy looking for every single eggs... I could have even hide them more because he was looking into some places I didn't even think about...

In every single egg was a little chocolate my mom brought from France. They are my favorite and I can't find them in the US! Mason absolutely loves them and they are a good size for kids.

Mason watched a bunch of videos where they open eggs on youtube and I think it really help him understand the concept. Everytime he opened one he didn't really spend much time on what was inside before going to find the next one...

Each egg was also coming with a little finger puppet a friend bought for Mason and they were perfect to fit in his little eggs!

Once the hunt was over the sugar rush had to happen and once he had enough chocolate we had to do it all over again because he couldn't get enough of it... Lesson learn, next year I will have to elevate the game...

Papa's got my back

This little cutie is gonna be two in a month and I can't believe it! Time's going by so fast...

He's so much fun and I love watching him become a little guy. He's for sure not a baby anymore! He's so friendly and so funny we love to do as many things as we can with him.

He loves to go shopping probably because I got him used to it from the get-go!

And whenever he hears some music he has to dance! Here's some of his awesome moves...ahah :)

^ I'm not sure where he got that one from...^

Mason is such a Daddy's boy! His Dad is his world and he has a lot of difficulty being far from him so he enjoys as much as he can when he's around.

This T-shirt was for sure made for him! His "papa" always have and always will get his back. I can't get enough of it! Go to Born Savage to get yours now. They have english version and even mama's one. And the plus of it is that they are super affordable!

I'm always amazed by the amount of comment we have when we walk outside. It's so rewarding to have random people come and tell you how cute your son is and the way you dress him up! I'll never get tired of that.

I think Mason attracts it also because he's such a friendly kid! Even too much sometimes. He'll wave and say "Hi" to pretty much everyone around him.

He even shares his food or his toys if he has some in his hands... Let's hope that last because I don't like when he doesn't want to share stuff or when he gets possessif.

This two for sure share an incredible bond and it's pretty amazing to watch. My husband does drives me crazy sometimes but I love how playful and loving he's with Mason.
