Mommy and me - Beach matching outfit

Today we are matching outfits at the beach! Very simple and very comfortable, but always trying to look good.

This time we are wearing reverse matching colors! I like to play around with our clothes. Usually I decide on my outfit first, or Mason's, and then find a matching one for the other. Or I just know that I have one piece I want to wear and then I find pieces that goes with it. It's usually pretty easy!

Mason is wearing my favorite shorts. It's a bit big right now but it will be perfect in a few months when the real hot weather will hit Los Angeles! For now I always have to adjust it otherwise it looks too baggy and I don't like that. I always buy just the size he's at to make sure it fits him perfectly and unfortunately these shorts run pretty big.

No matter where we go and no matter what we do you'll always find Mason with an apple and a few cars! 2 years old and already addicted... ;)

Lately when Mason loves something he rubs his big round belly and says num num num... It's cute and so funny at the same time!

The water is so cold and Mason is still scared of the waves so he won't put a foot in it. I try slowly to make him used to it by going myself and he finds it super funny. But so far it hasn't been working at all! No matter how much I do it he doesn't like to go in...

Even when I force him a little he runs as far as he can away from it and says "no maman" with his bossy voice!

My hair is very thin and can't handle beach weather so most of the time when we go to the beach I attach them. I don't like to have them all over my face and the easiest is to put them in my favorite braided bun which takes me 5 minutes to make and stays in shape for the entire day...

It was a grey day and not that warm so instead of playing in the water we ran crazy after each other. But mostly it was me running after Mason, which he loves! You can see the happiness on his face and if you try hard I'm sure you can hear him scream :)

We played like crazy in sand dunes and he fell a few times which gave him a good work out. I hoped it was making him tired but even though he spent a lot of energy he fought his nap that day! No time for us to rest...

I always catch up to him and tickle him which makes him crack up and he always says "no" but then asks for more...
It's funny to see how contradictory kids can be.

We don't go to the beach often enough even though we live very close to it. And every time we go we realize how amazing it is and how we should go more often. But I'm pretty sure it'll be a while before we go again...
